What is AsianSTSS?

History

AsianSTSS was founded in 2005 as a fully incorporated limited company registered in Hong Kong for professionals to share information about the effects of trauma. AsianSTSS was officially approved by the Inland Revenue Department to be a charitable organization with effect from 24 October 2012.

Mission

To advance knowledge about the nature and consequences of highly stressful events
To provide a forum for the sharing of research, clinical strategies, public policy concerns and theoretical formulations on trauma around the Asian region
To promote high standards and ethical practice in the trauma field

To encourage networking and development of AsianSTSS within the Asian region
