AsianSTSS would like to express deep condolences to the victims of the devastating earthquake in China's Sichuan province as well as victims of the cyclone in Myanmar.

We would like to appeal to all AsianSTSS members to offer assistance or support to the affected countries in minimizing the devastating impact of the disasters.

Introduction

The Asian Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (AsianSTSS) is a multi-disciplinary organization that provides a forum for exchange of knowledge about severe stress and trauma within the Asian region. This knowledge includes preventing traumatic events, understanding the scope and consequences of traumatic exposure, and ameliorating their consequences.
